Founded in 1942, Monumental City Medical Society (MCMS) is the first African-American physician association in Baltimore.
We are an alliance of African-American physicians that serve the Baltimore metro and surrounding areas.MCMS members include primary care physicians, medical sub-specialists and surgical specialists. We are committed to collaboration with community stakeholders to eliminatethe disparities in healthcare due to economic and racial differences.
MonumentalCity Medical Society acknowledges the power of collaboration through the commitment and contributions of physicians, communities, individuals and health advocacy organizations as the cornerstone to reduce the burden of chronic diseases and persistent health disparities.
